36th Pan-American Ophthalmology Congress (PAAO) 2025

The PAAO 2025, held from May 30 to June 2 in Bogotá, gathered leading ophthalmology professionals from the Americas and other regions. The intensive academic program included keynote speeches and symposiums on the retina, glaucoma, cornea, refractive surgery, pediatric ophthalmology, neuro-ophthalmology, and ocular oncology, as well as an international medical technology exhibition.

With an estimated 5,000 participants and 14,000 hotel nights, the economic impact reached $5.5 million.
